The Horrors Persist But So Do I 😊 🌼

Hi %FIRSTNAME%,
This morning I was cleaning up pee in my daughter’s room after the cat was trapped in there overnight! He picked an almost empty laundry basket to relieve himself since he couldn’t get to his bathroom ,and it splashed around the floor. As I was picking up the floor to deep clean the carpet, I saw my daughter’s flower magnet above the basket.... It says “THE HORRORS PERSIST BUT SO DO I”....

When we look at current events: 2026 seems to be yet another year of shock and disaster. But we don't have to ride shot gun for the whole thing, in fact, it’s impossible to. Yoga calls this Karma. The cause of action and reaction or consequences. Yoga Tantra says that our world is non-dual. We are interconnected always and forever.
I want to remind you today that you are not powerless. In fact, you are incredibly impactful. This magnet actually is a very succinct version of the Bodhisattva Vow. A Bodhisattva is one who has been enlightened but will not enter Nirvana until the rest of the world is free from suffering. So they spread kindness, compassion, perspective, and reduce suffering where ever they go for the sake of the collective.
To take action doesn’t have to mean running for office, starting a charity, or anything that feels performative. It CAN become that, but it is not meant to be in its core. To take action means to put your soul into the world through your daily interactions. To let others feel your love because it then becomes their love.
I want to invite you to join us LIVE for a special zoom Wednesday (3/18/2026 at 6:45pm) for an hour-long deep dive yoga class into The Bodhisattva Vow. This class will be recorded for all enrolled.
Class credits are accepted. *
*Please message me if cost is an issue, and you are sure you will be attending class.
Have a beautiful rest of your day and carry on 🌼
